Staff Infection On Bellybutton

Travel - Travel

the morning of Saturday, August 14 we continue the journey, to Bergen.

We camp just outside the city and set off immediately for a visit when you are around the 12.
Bergen also does not strike me too much, a normal city, not typical of Oslo, the only things worth visiting are the famous Bryggen, UNESCO World Heritage Site.
These typical wooden houses in the port area are completely skewed and distorted because of an explosion in the past to the port, the positive side is that you can go freely from the outside, but also in the narrow alleyways, one can also climb on balconies and into the attic! The downside is, of course, have arisen restaurants, bars and shops that enjoy the ground floor of part structures.
But a visit there is ...

disappointment was the rather famous fish market, a small rectangle of about ten meters on each side, where there is fish, fruits and more. I had imagined largest and most characteristic but did not seem very different from our markets in the square.

city Let's go to the aquarium, but the cost of the ticket brings us to the cravings, so we decide to try to see a pretty weird little church out of town.
arrive on site and we have to do a little 'round the ocean to figure out exactly where to go, but do not try to ask for information we are given a great help. Eventually we parked and try the road that seems most plausible, four steps and we arrived.
The church is surrounded by a knitted wire mesh and, again, it pays to enter. Fortunately, the place stands alone, surrounded by a grove, Therefore, even when standing outside the fence we can see and photograph the entire structure.
From the photos seen on the road seemed much bigger and imposing, but the sizes are quite small, but the building is unique and embroidery abound.
I do not particularly excited, but even I'm sorry, I remember taking a few photos and then we'll go.

We spent a mini market and then returned to the campsite.
A quick shower (always paid) and we start immediately in the kitchen, eat quickly and return to Bergen to board the Fløibanen, which should enjoy a nice view over the city and coast, sunset.
configure your browser, but soon we are going "a nose" on a steep street really close to the point that we need to do more maneuvers in the hairpin to bend!
uncertainty continue until the end of the road, here we ask information to young people who are confirming that we have to park and walk for 10 minutes.
then leave the car, take backpacks and tripods and we set off.
The "ten minutes" norvegiesi are as usual more, and after 20-30 minutes we arrive at the summit, where, by the arrival of the funicular, there is a broad overview of steps.
The protective glass height bust does not leave much space to the compositions, so it fits better with a few test shots and await the right light.

The conditions are not bad, the rays of sunlight filter in between the clouds and flashes when one of them hits a patch of grass in the foreground, both me and John we pounce on the shutter button!

As the light fades, fades away the heat of the air, leaving room for a pretty cool breeze.
We look forward to photograph the lights of the city during the blue hour.
This time we are not the only photographers present, probably due to the presence of the cable car, and then comfort to be able to get to the top without hard work, other photographers and not fitted with stands, stand next to us.
When the time is good, a haze begins to decline in some areas of the city, making the scene more palatable. We make several shots, then when the hour is late now, we start to descend, and, almost out of spite, the mist is flushed from the city lights, creating other photographic find everything.
few minutes and we already arrived at the car, then back to camp and we tucked into sleeping bags for the last time in a tent.

Now, do not think bad, I forgot to put photos, it's just that, mysteriously, have been lost!
I am sure you have downloaded on the laptop of John (where to download it As the photos to make room on the memory card) and having reviewed the days after, then during the last days of the trip, I realized that there were photos, and those memories, both from the "right".
I tried to do a search on the entire hard drive but nothing. I do not know what happened and fortunately I'm not the best photos, but some that I liked enough yes, really a pity!

Tombstone Writing Funny My

Bergen in Norway - Hardangervidda

When we wake up the morning of Thursday 12, we find that incredible moisture has completely soaked the tent!
We decide to delay the start and we put into action, trying to dry the wet with the bulk of paper towels, squeeze and re-using them as best we can!
When the situation improves and the tent is partially dry, dismantle everything and we get on the road.
Along the way, the fjords, as always, give performances. At one point we find a situation quite incredible: we have only one scene in a lake, a hill, mountains and even a glacier! This time we can not stop for some photos!

After you put everything away, we continue the journey.

We had planned to arrive in the waterfall Voringsfoss late morning, because according to our calculations, there would be the best lighting conditions, but when we camped at Øvre is already mid-afternoon. Have placed, however, we decided to visit the waterfall, having nothing better to do.
We climb in the car on a very winding road (almost spiral) up to the perfect start when you look at the waterfall. There are various ways and various places to see this attraction, what we have chosen is not the best: you can easily see the small waterfall secondary as the dust raised by the water vapor flow in which crashes to the ground (amazing how the steam and the air mass caused by increased scavenger cascade way up, the water of the lowest), but the waterfall more if you do not see the end, being almost entirely hidden behind the rock.
We note that probably the best point is that from the bottom, along a footpath that leads up to the foot of the waterfall, but, in addition to being a long distance (2-3 hours of walking, according to what we know), it would also difficult to take pictures with all that water vapor, and of course you are completely soaked.
Given the late hour and the adventure of the day before, we are content with where we are and took some pictures.

Back at camp we cook our usual large pot of pasta and then we dedicate ourselves to the photos. Fortunately, the campsite is right on the shore of a fjord and offers a nice scenario, as often happen in the various places where we will stay, so for once I just do only 2 steps to already be on location!
The weather conditions in Norway are highly variable, and more often at dusk or dawn, there are situations worthy of note, or at least cute. This is definitely a pro for those who love landscape photography! The probability of finding something good when it comes to photography is definitely high.

rest until the last color on the gray clouds passing, shooting every now and then to record each situation and change colors in the sky, so you can choose the best moment later.
Now I put everything away and sat down with a beer and chat with John, when I lose the eye in the sky and I see that you have created a special situation with a pair of fiery clouds of a vivid red with purple hues. It seems almost impossible for such an event several minutes after everything has shut down, but this is it! Obviously I can only do viewer.

The next day we wake up early, take the car and we head towards the Hardangervidda National Park in search of wild reindeer, birds and anything else interesting faunisticamente can occur. The weather is bad, however, especially on the park, at times with rain and strong wind.
take a dirt road for a fee (there is a casottina beginning with the application forms a part becomes detached and is held, the other is made in the envelope, so you shove money in the pockets is 'appropriate box) at low speed and continue looking around to spot something.
Luck does not help us much, and also the road is the only passable by car to go into the heart of the park, so it's pretty busy and the human presence takes maybe a bit 'away wild animals. On the other hand, the bad weather we have to pass the desire for a walk, then we should go back and forth in the car and hope for luck.
Throughout the morning we do not see anything at all, except for some rock misleading mistaken for animal, then all that remains is the surrounding landscape.

Around noon / one o'clock exit of the dirt road and parked in an area along the road to take a break, they take the opportunity to eat, a game of "Trivial Pursuit" with the defeat of John annexed (the first of a series!: D), and also some pictures "from boredom."

Then we resume our back and forth on the dirt road.
At one point out of the window I see a bird still on the grass, nailed down the window on my side and do a short burst, control the shots, I make a second burst and then gives way to the specialist. Misfortune has it that at that very moment behind us comes a van, making a loud noise, we move to pull over and let him pass, but when we get back in now the bird is gone.
Covering Photos John suggests it is a Plover doves, actually then look at the guide of the birds that it is a golden plover.
The distance and conditions did not produce a great photo of start, but the RAW files still try to pull something out, if only to remember my first sighting of game!

The rest of the day goes by without anything done. Late in the afternoon
some sunshine begins to filter through the clouds, making among other hope for the sunset, just as I'm trying the 300mm f2.8 John, so I take this opportunity to a landscape by hand.

the evening, over our classic dinner of pasta, I placed again on the banks of the fjord of the camp for sunset.
The conditions are less attractive in the sky this time, but there is still something nice.
behind me but there are large clouds of yellow-orange color and I think to myself that maybe dall'Hardangervidda would have done something really nice, having a good view of 360 degrees and some interesting areas a bit 'in all directions. This time
rest beyond the last lights, not to me how unprepared the night before, but obviously in this case the conditions do not recur, so I have to make do with what I have already done so.

Shooting 500 Yds With 7mm Rm

Travel in Norway - Oslo and Prekestolen

Introduction

year rental programs I had, so I thought I would spend the month of August doing two or three days every now and then in various places, but in July I contact his friend "Giobart" (John Bartoli ) asked if I wanted to do a drive somewhere in Europe.
Norway thus became the destination for a trip of 15 days, mostly photographic background, of course.

Oslo and Prekestolen

I start traveling on the afternoon of Sunday, August 8 and reach John at his house, where he slowly begins to charge the car. At about 18 we start, we get over Switzerland, a piece of Austria and then began the endless Germany. We give the leadership changes at midnight and pull up to the first ferry in the early morning. Here we can relax for 40-50 minutes, during the journey by ship, then we take the car and walk along a stretch of Denmark to the second ferry, and then, once on land, along the direction of Sweden in Oslo.
We stopped an hour to eat and relax, we will continue.
arrive in the area around Oslo in mid-afternoon Monday, 9, here we begin to look a place to stay. Unfortunately, the budget I have available is very limited and the prices of Hytte (log cabins) in the first campsite we are asking are quite high. We decide to look for a hostel in Oslo, but even here prices are not exactly cheap, as well as to be a full house. At the end
take place in a tent camp near Oslo.
We would like to make us the dough, but we do not have pots, so we must again feed us with sandwiches and the like.
After dinner it's time to take some pictures at sunset.

Let's go back to the tent waiting the dark, just a little 'relaxation and then tried to photograph the lights of Oslo.

now When it's late and cool, we tucked into sleeping bags, set your alarm, ear plugs and we can sleep.

We wake up early in the morning, prepare a quick coffee, we remove everything, take a shower, we load our stuff into the car and we go to visit the city.
parked near the station, just take the photo backpacks and started shooting. Oslo frankly not impressed me much, only a city like many others, a bit 'modern and a bit' old. It has the royal villa worst I've ever seen, completely devoid of decorations and the structure of a rectangular block. The only things that are worth visiting, including the ones we shot, are the work, which is a modern and unique, and the statute of Vigeland Park, where there are lots of statues of men (women, children, males, the elderly) and naked in strange poses, which should represent the various states of the human soul. Very nice to the obelisk and the whole park in general.
By mid-afternoon we saw the main things that interest us, then we leave the city and continue towards Prekestolen, scored as the best viewpoint in the world.
un'Ikea \u200b\u200bAlong the way there and we decide to stop to take some cooking pots, we find a great offer and buy 3 pots (one large, one medium and a pot) for about 10 €.
After this brief stop off again and we start looking for a cheap camping along the route. Fortunately, the camp of Oslo we are equipped with a free guide really useful and well done, which contains many scattered all over the head to Norway with a rather large map (which was also useful to check the road) on which the number of search camping and a magazine where you can view detailed descriptions on the structures, the presence or absence of certain facilities (such as showers, cooking, etc..), a graphical evaluation of the overall quality and, absolutely crucial and most interesting, the prices! This guide has been a real boon and faithfully accompanied us throughout our journey.
We camp along the way and then finally we can cook a large pot of pasta and eat something decent. In the evening the sky is overcast, so let's forget the photos, we relax a bit 'and then we get to sleep. At night I wake up and hear the sound of rain on the tent, I hope it stops and closes his eyes. Unfortunately it is not, and when the alarm is triggered, the sound of the drops occurs. We put on our raincoats and seek to dismantle the tent as quickly as possible, then give us a system in the bathrooms and we're off.
Along the way the rain comes and goes, but the sky is essentially covered throughout the morning. The views offered by the fjords are very beautiful, it is worth stopping to photograph every five minutes.
When it comes to leadership changes, we take advantage for some quick souvenir photo, between the wind and pioggierella end, then we put ourselves in the street.
Prekestolen arrive in the area in the early afternoon and we go by car to the area where the path starts. The parking fee is of course the cost of the hostel and this is too much for me, though I'd try a nice comfortable bed and the tent must dry.
then go down a few miles to a campsite a little further down, where some sunburst helps us making the tent to dry quickly enough and the fabric.
Our plan is to ascend to the viewing point for sunset, and then, at the end of camp, we just have to wait for hours to begin a journey.
decide to avoid paying parking going up to the point of departure on foot, scored with a navigation that is only 4 km and 40 minutes away on foot more.
While we wait to leave, we read the brochure of the camp that there is an alternative to the paved road that leads to the same point, which is supposed to cut a piece. In
description are told that the trail is a bit 'tight and sometimes wet, and you need a good physical condition, auks we look at each other and we opt for that path.
which seem!
After 20 minutes of paved road and a piece of the trail in good condition, the route starts to become "too" close, doable yes, but with a brush cutter!
Somehow we make way through the invading vegetation, but the worst is yet to come!
Later we discover that the path "wet" is really a unique mud, it would take the boots to go with no problems.
journey so with difficulty, looking for points where you can spend less muddy, but it is really an and dirty is inevitable. When I make a false move and I feel his foot sink into the shoe to the middle thinking, "There he is!", Then I look up and see before me John sinking up to mid-calf!
somehow manages to escape without letting the shoes, but the mud has obviously soiled shoes and socks. We stop just before a rigolo of water, where we try to clean our somewhat ': I have little to do, just a washed to the bottom of the boots and they are right, my partner has a lot to get instead. Let's continue our journey
cursing our choice!
After an hour and 40 minutes of walking, we arrived to the trail for Prekestolen: 2 hours ahead yet walk!
But now we are there at this point makes no sense to hold back. The path to the
Prekestolen is really absurd, like all the paths that I have seen in Norway and how many things are absurd in this country being famous tourist attraction, I was expecting an easy path, perhaps along steep and at times, but well maintained and easily passable, obviously my understanding of family tourism is quite different from the Scandinavian! The trail, as well as being long and quite steep in some places, has some very dangerous step, and I can not comprehend how people and families with small children not "athletic" and with normal shoes (I have even seen people with thongs and guys with All Stars) can reach the top.
Throughout the journey then, John and I often joke with exaggerations on Norvegiesi and standards. At about 19
Prekestolen finally arrive at, after a brief downpour of rain that forced us to wear raincoats.
The view is incredible, the weather conditions change quickly and the light, when the space between the clouds, is already interesting, then immediately started shooting.

between shots and other things we eat some sandwiches, some with a sausage is not too friendly to me and even haunted bag backpack with a smell that seemed anything but sausage. In the mouth however the taste is not so disgusting, luckily.
I still hold me to photograph the clouds tinged with red and purple, as seems to happen, but John wants to get off, then I'm happy to watch the last light on the journey.
The descent is much faster and arrive at the campsite (this time via the paved road) well before that we thought, we take a well deserved shower and then collapsed into our sleeping bags.
