In recent months I did a few / no photographic output target: when I moved was to go skiing, but still pulled behind the camera.

After nearly a month after the last tour at last the pain from the beating seems to give me respite and allow me to do exercise, so I decide to go skiing during the day somewhere.
This year I particularly want to ski, from the mid November paw!

Foppolo First place, two hours by car. I would go on Saturday, so I could rest on Sunday, but obviously the bad luck that the night before you want us to snow, making roads impassable, so I am obliged to postpone the next day. Weather provides weather, but low temperatures, and in fact is really so: the already near Bergamo the thermometer on my car marks -8 ° C, but when I reach the ski resorts of Foppolo we at -15 C °!
Fortunately, the sky is crystal clear and warm sunshine, no wind and the humidity is low so the cold is bitter but bearable (not that wet and cold it gets in the bones even if there are -1 / -2 C °) and also during the day temperatures rise up to -4 ° C, but then back to -13 ° C in the evening.

The place offers some nice views, and towards evening the light is good, but honestly I have little desire to freeze your hands (I only ski gloves) and are more interested in skiing, so I come home with zero photos. From the perspective of the ski slopes are a bit 'court, easy medium and plants are certainly not modern (the Trentino has three spans ahead of California), I found a good snow despite the cold of the night and few people. First ski of the year I went well, at least I took off the whim and I did my legs.

The second I made it skiing with his family to Montecampione, near Lake Iseo. Even here I found good weather and this time the temperatures were very pleasant, too bad there was no snow! We skied almost to the bottom: in some parts sticking out from the snow and twigs and grass areas only the lower slopes were covered with snow (because of the cannons of course), everything seemed to fall around the countryside! The tracks are beautiful and certainly make more snow more, there was a bit 'of people but not too much, so we skied well and freely. Here again, the plants are what they are.

Photographically speaking the place is good, there are some beautiful views (in some respects we also see a piece of the lake) during the day and snap some photos, but of course you can ski in the middle of the day, so the light is not that good and photos that do are mostly pictures.
the evening was a large mass of clouds comes forward in a straight line, a line that divides perfectly clear sky and overcast sky, the light is already so hot and razed more than just find a nice view I take this opportunity for a photo a bit 'more serious (but of course in freehand, without the large claims).

During the last run the light is really good and if I were there to trip me mouth-watering photo, unfortunately I can not go where I want with boots and skis, also We are close to skiing, so I merely observe.
At the parking lot but I find the area of \u200b\u200bthe mountains, looking toward the lake, burnt red, so I give myself the time for an overview freehand. The location is not the most favorable areas in the foreground and are now in shadow, but the backlight is really very nice, so I still do what I can.

came down the mountain in the car, bend after bend watch the fading light.

For the third location is undecided until the night before, in the end I choose to go to Presolana, Monte Pora, but then immediately change the middle at the suggestion of my father shows me how can Coleraine good ski resort. Once again, the weather will help me and makes me find good weather. I find snow on the slopes
arrived in abundance: it is a spectacle to watch the snow intact candidly form curves and the dunes beyond the tracks (and their off-piste).

Coleraine
A few tracks are good but it is an area not suitable for beginners and more oriented towards medium-expert skiers. The first chair lift that you have to take to get to the slopes is very dated and slow, as well as long. The track leading down to the parking lot has frozen snow (that area is in shade most of the day, as opposed to door at the top) so after having made it once to prove I have not made up at end of day, thus avoiding even the chair slowly.

who, like me, loves to make even off-piste, you will find in this place a paradise! Almost every area between a runway and the other has the opportunity to ski outside the borders of the slopes, dunes, jumps and anything else (of course at your own risk). The off-piste here are large, undulating and challenging enough, without introducing too many dangers, however, during the day I almost skied off-piste than on the slopes! E 'was really a spectacle. Even at the side of the tracks I've found more often of the beautiful jumps and ramps for those who are capable, acrobatics (I saw one do a 360 ° horizontal ski cross).

photos here are interesting views, though less beautiful than the two previous posts. The situation is not the best light, the slopes are affected by sunlight only during the middle, while the early morning and late afternoon the area is in shadow. However, between skiing and the other, I found various suggestions offered by photography undulating trails and areas are created on the surface, in fact one of the three was the exit where I photographed more (but more than anything else so semi-serious, being aware of the limitations that offers a similar light).

At sunset the light has disappeared from the slopes, the summit seems to be interesting, going to light the tops of some mountains and next, I suppose, even the valley that you see at the highest elevation. I say "guess" for a reason: it was my intention to go to see the light of the situation before the closure of the lifts, possibly take some pictures and then ski to the parking lot and the only problem is that I missed the half-track Plant Chronicler (the one that leads to the highest point) and come to that later were no longer rising. Too bad, I can not say for sure but I think the valley at sunset landscape provides a good opportunity, I have to be satisfied with panoramic made in the morning and enjoy the last skiing into the valley.

The misadventures I've had in the car during these three outputs are another story!
